INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT’S AWARD
Reserved for Lions who have distinguished themselves through exemplary service that
significantly strengthens their community or our association. Presidential Award recipients
should be Involved in club service projects, supportive of LCI programs, and LCIF
Contributing to member retention, reducing membership loss and sponsoring at least one
new member.
INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD
This award is intended to recognize Lions and Leos who make significant contributions to
leadership development. Exceptional Leadership is evidenced by membership growth,
Increasing service, project quality and quantity, measurable impacts and results within the
community. Also, improvement to overall club quality and member experience.
MELVIN JONES FELLOWSHIP
The MJF Program was established in 1973 in honor of Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions
Clubs International. The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award recognizes outstanding individuals
by bestowing on them an award that is named for the founder of the Lions, Melvin Jones.
This Fellowship Award, given by the LCIF is the highest form of recognition and embodies
humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism
PROGRESSIVE MELVIN JONES FELLOWSHIP
For those who are already an MJF, the Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship (PMJF)
provides an opportunity to advance in the Fellowship program. For each subsequent
donation of US$1,000 beyond the initial MJF donation, donors receive a new level of
recognition, signified by a unique PMJF pin in accordance with their level of giving. The
PMJF program has 100 levels, representing gifts between US$2,000 – US$100,000. Like
MJFs, donors can honor another individual with PMJF donations.
