“Even the strongest blizzard starts with a single snowflake” (WE SERVE!)

Since our Charter in 1967, our club has been an active participant in
the life of the community. Currently, we have 27 members who are
extremely passionate about serving those in need. The club
supports various charities on an ongoing basis and we never
hesitate to support another worthy cause.

One of our Signature Projects for over thirty years is an annual
Thanksgiving celebration for special needs children and their
caregivers at P.S.771K. We look forward to seeing the children’s
smiling faces and sharing the joyful experiences with them. As a
follow up to this event, we host a Christmas party for the same
group of children with a DJ for dancing and a visit from Santa
Claus. The members work closely with the caregivers to ensure
that each child receives a wrapped Christmas present from Santa
Claus. Food and ice cream are added attractions. We look forward
to the children’s “Thank You” performances in song and dance.

Throughout the year, we also support The Guide Dogs of America,
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer for Research, Children’s Tumor
Foundation, Oligo Nation Cancer Research, Maimonides Breast
Cancer Center, Boy Scouts of America, and various religious
organizations. The club also prides itself on actively helping
families in crisis, especially when they require assistance with
    educational expenses.

At Mill Basin Bergen Beach Lions Club, there is no shortage of
commitment and generosity among our members. We truly enjoy
    spreading kindness and joy.
