“Even the strongest blizzard starts with a single snowflake” (WE SERVE!)

To celebrate the birthday of Lion Melvin Jones, founder of Lions Clubs
International, the club conducted a special community service project.
Despite the frigid temperature and COVID-19 restrictions, club members
assembled with warm, kind hearts and adopted safety precautions. They
were ready to prepare and gift 100 “goodie bags” of care products and
treats to senior congregants at 10 different houses of worship in Jamaica
and St. Albans.

Special acknowledgements to IP Douglas X. Alexander and PDG Oswald
“Ozzie” Torres, (Candidate for International Director ), and the dedicated
Queens Community Lions for their invaluable input. We are grateful for
their support with this operation which was very successful and well
appreciated.
