“Even the strongest blizzard starts with a single snowflake” (WE SERVE!)

The club hosted their 1st “Children’s Holiday
Toys Giveaway “ in collaboration with the
Silver Spoon Diner in Queens, NY. This
event was also marked as a tribute to the
life and legacy of the late Mr. Jim Galloway,
a very dedicated and committed community
leader who founded this project.
Local organizations including Community
Board #4, Members of Friends of LeFrack
City Library, LeFrak City Tenants
Association and several elected officials
joined the “team.” In addition to toys, face
masks, hand sanitizers, book bags, winter
hats and gloves were distributed to the
children. In teams serving from the heart,
over 300 toys were gifted to the children.

“We were blessed to see the smiles on the
children’s faces when Santa arrived!”
(played by Lion Vincent Laucella). At the
end of the celebration, the children were
treated with mugs of hot chocolate and a
goodie bag with cookies for Santa.
