BROOKLYN TRANSITION SUPPORTS “NIGHT OUT TO FIGHT CRIME”

      On August 2 , members of Brooklyn Transition Lions Club supported their local Police precincts, by participating in America’s Night Out
      Against Crime.

      The Lions showed up at parks and playgrounds, and assisted officers from the 67 , (God Squad), 69 and 73 precincts in Brooklyn by
                                                                th
      distributing anti-crime materials and health information pamphlets, in addition to serving food and beverages.
      One of the purposes of “Night Out,” according to the police, “is to send a message to criminals letting them know that the communities
      are organized and are fighting back”.
