HOLIDYAY JOY
In true holiday spirit, Brooklyn Transition Lions hopped onto Santa’s sleigh days before Christmas and
made a few quick stops. Along the route, they spread joy and holiday cheer to many children in their
community.
The Lions first landed on the steps of the 69 Precinct located at 9720 Foster Ave. Lion Brenda assisted

the Community Affairs Bureau with handing out hundreds of unwrapped toys. Then she made her way
to the Canarsie Library at 1580 Rockaway Parkway, to assist at a similar event.
The next day, the first stop was at 1222 East 96 Street. Lion Reneira, Lion Charles (CJ) and Lion

Brenda joined Santa’s helpers already on the ground and handed out dozens of warm coats, socks and
other cold weather accessories. (see photos)
In addition to loads of toys. Lion Pamela also donated over sixty pairs of socks to Misa’s Treats.
