CHRISTMAS IS THE SPIRIT OF LOVE
FROM CROWN HEIGHTS LIONS
and
BROOKLYN COLLEGIATE PREP
On December 20m 2022, Crown Heights Lions
partnered with The Parent - Teachers Association
of Brooklyn Collegiate Prep School and My Auntie’s
House, Inc ., to prepare and deliver gifts, like The
Magi who were the original Christmas gift givers.
The next day, Lions Lucette Bishop, Gloria Antoine,
Jennifer Parsons and Yolande Cadore wrapped
gifts for approximately 350 children. The following
day was the highlight of this 3-day project, when
the gifts were distributed.
The children were so thankful and appreciative as
they accepted their Christmas gifts. They gave
warm affectionate hugs to the Lion members. Few
things bring more joy during the Christmas
season than the happiness in the eyes of a child.
The extra presents were dropped off at a Brooklyn
Shelter in the neighborhood.
