METROPOLIS RESUMES

VISION SCREENING

Undiagnosed visual impairment often leads to underdeveloped motor skills, educational
underachievement and behavioral problems in young children.

So, after a hiatus during the Covid-19 pandemic, Brooklyn Metropolis Lions, Inc. resumed one

of their core projects by providing vision screening for 56 children at two elementary schools
on October 24 and November 15. The immeasurable value of this project was realized as half
of those screened required follow-up services.
