B Fillers
During the speech we may make
pauses and fill them with certain verbal
expressions like um and uh. Those are
called as verbal fillers or vocalized
pauses. Those refer to phrases which are
used during speaking to fill in a moment
of silence between connecting thoughts
or ideas (Cohen, 2012).
Some fillers that are usually used are as
