IMPORTANT NOTES: HYPOTHESIS
In your research, a hypothesis is not always required. Hypothesis will be only used
when you conduct a quantitative research applying the correlational and
experimental studies (those concerning with the cause of certain phenomenon or a
relationship between two or more variables under investigation). Exploratory and
descriptive research do not require any hypothesis.

Useful expression for writing a hypothesis:
Use if clause in present tense to write
your hypothesis.
Ex: If teachers have a pleasing and
sociable personality, their students will
feel comfortable in the learning
processwhich will affect the students’
achievements.
Use particular verbs such as:
- Hypothesize
- Suppose to
- Assume
