is going to remain within the oesophagus. That means the food is not going to reach
the stomach. It will also lead to oesophageal reflux of feed, which will potentially cause
aspiration.”

Ns. Grace : “We will need to reinsert the tube and reassess it with a repeat X-ray. We are going to
put your wife’s name on the soonest schedule.”
