                 Understanding the purposes of positioning

                                 Dina. Today, I’ll help you into the Sim’s position to

                Nurse Tiara  :   ”It’s when you lie on your left side with your left leg

                                 reducing pressure on certain areas. Let me adjust your
                                 pillow and guide your legs.”


                Nurse Tiara  :   ”Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, Mr.
                                 Arif. I’ll place you in the Trendelenburg position.”
                Mr. Arif     :   ”Waalaikumsalam, Nurse. What does that mean?”
                Nurse Tiara  :   ”It means the bed will be tilted so your head is lower
                                 than your feet. This position is great for increasing
                                 blood flow to your important organs, especially if your
                                 blood pressure is low. I’ll adjust the bed slowly so
                                 you’re comfortable.”


                Nurse Tiara  :   ”Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Mr.
                                 Rahmat. I’ll help you lie in the lateral position.”
                Mr. Rahmat  :    ”Waalaikumsalam, Nurse. What is the lateral position?”
                Nurse Tiara  :   ”You’ll lie on your side, either left or right, with pillows
                                 supporting your arms and legs. This position improves
                                 airflow and prevents pressure on specific areas. Let me
                                 assist you to your right side.”
