the other hand, if you need more support and balance, a 3) _______________ offers a
sturdier option. It has four legs and helps bear more weight, so you can move more
                                  safely and confidently.”
Ms. Anisa : “I think I’d feel more secure with a walker for now, since I’m still gaining my strength
                                  back.”
Nurse Tiara : “That makes sense! We’ll make sure you’re comfortable using it. The walker will give
you more stability and help you gradually build up your strength. Another item we use
to help with comfort in bed is the 4) _______________. It’s shaped like a triangle and
helps elevate parts of your body, like your back or legs, to reduce pressure and improve
circulation. It can be especially helpful if you have trouble breathing or need to relieve
                                  back pressure.”
Ms. Anisa : “I think I’d like to try that; sometimes lying flat makes it harder to breathe.”
Nurse Tiara : “The wedge pillow should help with that. And to make sure you’re safe in bed, we use
                                  5) _______________. These are the bars on the side of the bed that prevent you from
accidentally rolling off. They also give you something to hold onto when you’re trying to
                                  reposition yourself.”
Ms. Anisa : “I’ve noticed those, and they do make me feel safer, especially when I’m turning or
                                  trying to sit up.”
Nurse Tiara : “Exactly! Lastly, we sometimes use 6) _______________ for positioning. These are
heavy, flexible bags that help support certain parts of the body, like your hips or legs.
They prevent unwanted movement and help keep your body in the right alignment
                                  while you’re resting.”
Ms. Anisa : “Wow, I didn’t realize there was so much equipment to help with positioning and
                                  recovery!”
Nurse Tiara : “Yes, there’s a lot available to make sure you’re comfortable, safe, and well-supported.
Each of these items has a specific purpose, and we’ll use whatever is best for you
depending on your needs. If you ever feel discomfort or if you’re curious about trying
something new, just let me know, and we can adjust things as needed.”
Ms. Anisa : “Thank you for explaining all of this. It’s good to know there are so many options to
help me stay comfortable and recover properly.”
Nurse Tiara : “You’re very welcome, Ms. We’ll make sure you’re well taken care of, and if you ever
need help with any of this equipment, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll check you again later.”
