Nurse Nana : “Alright, Ms. Anisa, now that we’ve talked about positioning, let’s focus on how to get
you into a comfortable position that will also help with your breathing. You should lie in
a way that allows your lungs to expand properly. Let me guide you through it. First, you
need to lie on your back for now.”
Ms. Anisa : “Okay, I’ll try.”
Nurse Nana : “Good. Now, let’s adjust your body. 1)_________ your knees slightly to relieve pressure
on your lower back. You must do this whenever you’re feeling discomfort, especially
after being in the same position for a while.”
Ms. Anisa : “That feels better on my back already.

head and shoulders slightly, and I’ll place this wedge pillow behind you. It’ll help keep
your chest open. You should use this pillow to prevent any strain while you’re breathing
                                  deeply.
Ms. Anisa : “That makes a big difference; I feel like I can breathe easier.”
Nurse Nana : “I’m glad to hear that. Now, take a deep breath in for me and relax your shoulders. You
could try this position whenever you feel short of breath, especially when you’re in bed
                                  for a long time.”
Ms. Anisa : “Yes, this feels much better for my chest.
