                   Neurons  are  specialized  cells  that  transmit  nerve  impulses.  Every
            neuron  is  composed  of  three  parts:  dendrites,  a  cell  body,  and  an  axon.
            Dendrites  are  threadlike  extensions  that  act  as  antennae,  bringing  nerve
            impulses to the cell body from other cells or sensory systems. The cell body
            contains the bulk of the cytoplasm and the nucleus of the neuron. An axon is a
            single, long extension that carries nerve impulses away from the cell body.
                   The brain and spinal cord contain many neurons. The dendrites and cell
            bodies located in the spinal cord make up the spinal nerves, while those in the
            brain make up the cranial nerves. Nerves contain bundles of axons.
