TRAVEL GUIDE is the longest-running privately-owned travel guide for the Northwest USA, Canada
and Alaska region. Yes, it has been an adventure! TRAVEL GUIDE started with an idea, an IBM

electric typewriter, a 35 mm camera and a young publisher with endless energy and vision! This
was in the days when “cut and paste” meant “scissors and hot wax”! TRAVEL GUIDE was created
before the evolution of Apple technology, internet and smart phones – all the things the current
traveler is accustomed to today. TRAVEL GUIDE has adapted itself to the 21st century, from

a 32-page publication to seven publications (328 pages main guide) covering the vast
areas throughout our region, not only in print media but also online web with action
videos, digital editions and travel app. Our mission has remained the same
– we are still traveling, and that is something to celebrate! We

are excited to bring you our 50th Edition
