TECH C AUDIT OUTLINE

Each section below will be graded by the panel and discussed during the completion of the audit. The
process will begin with the following:

NOTE: Examples of communications throughout will be required. An average score of 2.5 is required
for level completion.

• MYPLANT
o Must show how to log in and navigate myPlant
o Transfer license to XT4 panel
o Check requested site operational history
o perform requested trend
o Navigate to the required spare parts books

• PARTS
o Create parts lists for the requested tasks to perform
o Order parts
o Confirm correct parts arrive

• DIANE
o Log into the Diane
o Shut engine down
o LOTO

• PERFORM TASK
o The task will vary for each audit
o Examples of the job to perform: spark plug; clean and gap, valve adjustment, cam
inspection, valve height starter replacement, throttle flap service
o Explain circuit on wiring diagram
o Follow NES-WES and Jenbacher service guidelines
o Data collection
o Finalize work
o Perform laser alignment
o Check Leanox and startup settings

• DOCUMENTATION
o Complete all required paperwork
o Go over findings and task performed with a panel
o Submit all required paperwork
o Document potential work to quote
