Once all cylinder heads are free of siloxane a final inspection and wipe down of all
                             cylinder heads is required.


                          Decoking Internal Component

                              Before moving to Piston siloxane removal STOP and clean the work area to prevent
                              contamination from migrating to the engine block.

                              Uncovering only the cylinder you are currently working on, bring piston to top dead
                              center, set up your vacuum with HEPA filter at the 12 or 6 o’clock position of the piston
                              you are working on, or the best location for contaminate capture.  With vacuum on use
                              an angle grinder with Roloc Pad begin in the center cup of the piston, remove Siloxane
                              from the center out, working towards the edge of the piston, moving vacuum as needed
                              for best contaminate capture.  During the Siloxane removal on the crown of the piston
                              pay attention to not damage or contact the liner landing. Once all Siloxane build up is
                              removed, use the vacuum to remove any debris left behind, before rotating engine use
                              a rag and Jenbacher recommended cleaner, wipe down the top of the piston and
                              around the cylinder, Rotate the next piston to TDC, replace the cover on the cleaned
                              cylinder and repeat the process until all cylinders are cleaned.  A visual inspection is
                              required of the turbo charger, a certain amount of siloxane build up on the turbine
                              wheel is expected and allowed.  Visual inspection should include looking over daily
                              readings to make sure turbo speed (if present) and Compressor bypass positions are
                              healthy and in line with that engines daily operations profile.  Also inspect Turbine
                              wheel and housing for any signs of scuffing.

               Prepping for Engine Reassembly

                           Prepping Engine Block

                              While prepping engine block for reassembly debris should be avoided from entering the
                              side of the cylinder.  Using an approved Jenbacher cleaning agent spray the top of
                              engine block, using a lint free cloth wipe all debris from engine block.
                              Uncovering one piston at a time wipe the piston crown down along with the liner one
                              final time.  Rotating the engine several times may be required to remove all debris from
                              combustion chamber.  Recover each cylinder after final wipe down in preparation of
                              cylinder head installation.
