• Keeping the tape measure flat on the frame rail and
horizontal capture your reading making sure you take the
reading while level with the tape measure. Repeat this
process at each required rail location.

Measurement After Settling Before Initial Alignment

After Jenbacher recommended settling period of 24 to 48 hours and prior to
alignment procedure rails should be measured as shown in 1.3 again. If
measurements are out of the ordinary in anyway or +/- 2mm from previous
reading a picture showing the location and measurement method is required for
documenting to Jenbacher.

*Once rails are documented alignment can be performed per Jenbacher
documentation

Checking Installed Rubber Rails

Repeating Rubber Rail measurement

During each alignment process and 2000-hour maintenance rubber rail
measurement should be documented using the WES/NES data capture sheet as
described in 1.3

During the rubber rail measurement hardware should be checked for tightness,
wear or damage. Special care should be taken to inspect all hardware
connecting frame rails, gearbox, rubber rails and couplings.
