Visualization is another suggestive technique. The hypnotherapist may have the client
visualize doing the desirable behavior while feeling relaxed and feeling a little smile
beginning to form on their face. That type of suggestion is called an inference. It implies
(or infers) that the client will follow through and get some desirable action.

4. Evaluation

In a subsequent session, the client and hypnotherapist evaluate what change has
occurred. Was the client successful by doing desirable action? If so, the strategy
becomes reinforcing the change (or new behavior), and making it stronger and stronger.
The ultimate goal (in this case) is to create a new automatic habit of doing this action.

Uses of hypnotherapy
    Alleviation of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
    Weight loss or to quit addictive behaviors like smoking or drinking.
    Control of pain during dental procedures
    Elimination or reduction of skin conditions including warts and psoriasis
    Management of certain symptoms of ADHD
    Treatment of chronic pain conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis
    Treatment and reduction of pain during childbirth
    Pain management such as chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, or to treat irritable
       bowel syndrome (IBS), according to the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
    Reduction of dementia symptoms
    Reduction of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
    Treatment plan for phobias and other anxiety disorders.

Instruments used for applying hypnotherapy
    Some hypnotists use a hypnotic pendulum or a watch to help their clients focus
       and these can be quite helpful especially for beginners. Some hypnotists even use
