Honeymoon Adventures (June 1962)





                    ur honeymoon was a driving adventure that cost us $91.44. We traveled through Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, and Michi-
                Ogan. I still remember encountering an unpaved stretch of the brand new Trans -Canada Highway, which forced us to
                detour into the U.S., rather than rounding Lake Superior. We spent one night in Levering, Michigan, which added to the
                charm and spontaneity of our trip. For years we never booked ahead while we traveled by road.
