                1.9.4.2     Health


                Holders  of  medical  certificates  shall  not  exercise  the  privileges  of  their

                certificate  at  any  time  if  they become  aware  that  their medical  fitness  has

                changed  such  that  this  could  render  them  unfit  to  safely  exercise  those
                privileges.





                One must not take any medication or undergo any treatment unless sure that
                it  will  not  adversely  affect  their  fitness  to  perform  their  duties  safely.

                If there is any doubt, advice should be sought from the relevant AMS, AMC, or

                AME.

                Holders of medical certificates must consult AMS, AMC, or AME without undue

                delay if:

                     -  Hospital or clinic admission for more than 12 hours

                     -  Surgical operation or other invasive procedures

                     -  Transition to regular medication use

                     -  Need for regular vision correction




                Holders of medical certificates who are aware that they:

                    a)  Have a significant injury that reduces their ability to function as a pilot


                    b)  Suffering from an illness that reduces their ability to function as a pilot

                       for more than 21 days


                    c) Are pregnant

                   a) + c) must inform the authority in writing about such injury or pregnancy

                   b)  Must  inform  in  writing  about  the  illness  as  soon  as  the  21  days  have

                   passed.




                The medical certificate is considered invalid when an injury occurs, pregnancy

                is confirmed, or if the person has been ill for 21 days.
