Air Law
This means that if you wish to extend your certificate with a night-flying
privilege, you must first complete the missing training in instrument flying.
Additionally, there is a relaxation concerning the extension of rights, where
PPL(A) holders must accumulate 12 hours of flight time and 12 take-offs and
landings, as well as at least one hour of training with an instructor during the
last 12 months of the 24-month validity period.
For some, particularly those who cannot obtain a Class 2 Medical, LAPL(A)
training may be the only achievable option, as the medical approval is more
lenient in some areas for LAPL.
Additionally, the validity period is longer. Until the age of 40, the LAPL(A)
medical is valid for 5 years, but no longer than until the individual turns 42.
After that, the validity is 2 years.

1.9.6 Flying with passengers
To fly with passengers, the pilot must have made at least 3 take-offs and
landings as pilot on an aircraft of the same type/class or in a simulator for the
type/class in the past 90 days.
If the flight occurs at night, one of the 3 take-offs and landings must have been
performed at night.
1.9.6.1 Flying and payment
A PPL or LAPL certificate does not allow you to make any financial profit in any
way. You might save some money by flying to meetings and similar events. You
can have the company pay for a higher price and earn money by transporting
yourself.
