                Applicant must:
                  -  Must have valid PPL(A) theory
                  -  Must have valid radio certificate – at least N-BEG
                  -  Must have a valid medical certificate – at least class 2
                  -  Must be at least 17 years old
                Once  these  requirements  are  met,  and  the  Skill  Test  is  passed,  the  PPL(A)
                certificate can be issued.
                Requirements before you can take the PPL(A) skill test:
                  -  You must be proficient with the aircraft type
                  -  You must have the minimum required flight hours: at least 45 hours as a
                      pilot, of which:
                       o  A maximum of 5 hours may be in a simulator
                       o  10% of flight hours in a rudder-controlled sailplane or motor glider
                            are deducted (maximum of 10 hours total)
                Flight time credits:
                  -  If you have a “pilot certificate” (an EASA certificate as defined in EASA part
                      FCL), you can receive credit for up to 10% of the hours logged as pilot-in-
                      command (maximum of 10 hours).
                  -  If  you  have  an  LAPL(A)  certificate,  you  can  upgrade  to  a  PPL(A)  by
                      completing an additional 15 hours of training.
                  -  If you have an SPL certificate (sailplane license) with a TMG (Touring Motor
                      Glider)  endorsement  and  24  hours  as  PIC  (Pilot-in-Command),  only  15
                      hours are required to obtain a PPL(A).
                1.9.2.2    Rights
                The PPL(A) certificate grants the right to fly SEP (Single Engine Piston) land
                aircraft. The right applies to the type/class of aircraft on which the skill test is
                performed.
