4. Glory of God

1) Light of God

To focus on God means to entering into the glory of God.

The glory of God resides in the center of the light. The
light is the direct opposite of darkness, and God is light.

Jesus came into the world as the light of the world. But the
darkness has not understood the coming of the light.

“In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not
understood it” (John 1:4-5).

Anything that interferes with focusing on God is darkness.

However small the candle light might be, the light drives
away the darkness by shining in the midst of it. These are the

charac-teristics of light and darkness. The person remaining
in the light does not reside in darkness.

The Bible speaks in this way, “For God, who said, “Let
light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our
