hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of
God in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6). The glorious
light of God is already shining down upon our hearts. When
the light is received in full measure and is used, the darkness
is cast away.
The Bible also says, ““Arise, shine, for your light has
come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you” (Isaiah
60:1). This is to say that the glory of God, the light of Jesus,
has shined on us; we are to take the stand in reflecting back
the light. This is not a choice but a command of God. The
light has been made manifest in you, now stand and shine the
light. In so doing, the darkness of the world will be purged
and all that will remain is the glory of God.
But many saints do not understand this light and can’t use
the light. How lamentable is this. We do not even understand
that God has already given us his glorious light, but the
truth is not ac-cepted and we lack the desire to obtain this
light. How sorrowful can this be? It is as stated, “This is
the verdict; Light has come into the world, but men loved
darkness instead of light, because their deeds were evil.”
(John 3:19). The glory of God ultimately can be experienced
by under-standing and living in the light of Christ.
