LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain”
(Exodus 24:17). When the glory of God descended upon the
mountain, people felt the glory like that of a fire. Therefore,
the glory of God is about receiving the fire.
The fundamental understanding is the same in its glory,
light and fire. The light is that of Christ’s light and the glory
of God is the fire of the Holy Spirit. The Bible points to Jesus
as, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact
representation of his being,” (Hebrews 1:3). Je-sus is the
radiance of God’s glory. The glory of God shines as the light
shines through Jesus. That is why the light, glory and fire
share the same meaning.
3) God
Who do you worship? Is it God? Or is it the World? A
person belonging to flesh will serve the world. But the person
belonging to the spirit will serve God.
Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman, “Yet a time is
coming, and has now come, when the true worshipers will
worship the Father in the spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of wor-shipers the Father seeks” (John 4:23).
