righteousness. So I rushed in, giving my reply to him.

“I believe that it is about building a big church through

hard work for God … …”

What I really wanted was to reply with ‘striving with a
great effort in ministry for the king-dom of God and his

righteousness,’ but without knowing, building a ‘big church’
was spoken out loud. My secret of the heart was revealed.

With the mouth, ‘striving for the kingdom of God and his
righteousness’ was spoken, but deep within my heart, I must

have yearned for building a big church.

“David, what God wants is just ‘you’.”

To the core, the words of the Holy Spirit had shaken my
entire being. I almost passed out. It was too surprising. What

God wanted was no other thing but ‘me’. That truth was
simply amaz-ing.

The Holy Spirit added more to his words, as I could not
refrain from the amazement.

“David, God is not interested in your ministry. He is most
