“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory

             of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14)


               The framework of this text is written in a contrast format.
             The ‘water and sea’ is placed in contrast with the ‘glory and

             earth’. But the prophet Habakkuk utilizes this contrast in a
             slightly un-certain way. If written in a proper contrast format,

             the verse would appear to be like this.



               “As the water covers the sea, the glory of the Lord will fill
             the earth’.


               But with a deeper observation, the verse states, “For the

             earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
             Lord.” Why did prophet Habakkuk write in such a way? The

             Holy Spirit gave an answer to my curiosity.


               “David. The glory of the Lord has already filled the earth.
             As the water covers the sea, the Glory of the Lord is already

             covering the earth.”


               A new understanding of God’s glory began to fall upon my
             heart. Until now, I had been trying to pass on the glory of the
