heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” So Paul asked, “Then what
baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied”
(Acts 19: 2- 3)
The Ephesus Disciples, who had received the baptism of
the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul, began to speak in
tongues and prophesied immediately. As such, the Baptism of
the Holy Spirit works mightily through power. As we know,
the very basis of baptism of the Holy Spirit is placed upon
‘Believing the Lord’. When we receive Jesus as the savior of
the world and as our personal savior, we will then receive the
baptism of the Holy Spirit. As we believe with our heart that
Jesus is the savior, the Holy Spirit begins to manifest itself in
us. When this happens, we are no longer alone, and we begin
to live out our lives in walking with the Holy Spirit.
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy
Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
However, many Christians are not able to live out their
lives in walking with the Holy Spir-it. The reason is they
do not recognize the Holy Spirit in them. Furthermore, it
