“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and

pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who
sees what is done in secret, will reward you.“ (Matthew 6:6)

“Secret place” in Greek is “tamei’on”. This can be
translated as “your room” or “secret place”. The reason for

praying inside the secret place was explained by Jesus. “Then
your Fa-ther, who sees what is done in secret, will reward

you.”
Jesus knows the characteristics of the prayer. If we come

to realize the characteristics of Jesus’ prayer, then the secrets
of prayer will be revealed. It is because Jesus received all the

power needed in his ministry through the prayer.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the The Holy
Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and

healing all who were under the power of the devil, because
God was with him.” (Acts 10:38)

If Jesus had not prayed, then the power of God could not

be manifested. Jesus is 100% God, but at the same time
was 100% man. Not even once did Jesus use the power of

God, but only for us who live on the earth. Jesus received
the power of God through prayer. The power in driving out
