Seventeen
This is my own recollection of leaving home to join the Army at
seventeen years of age. It was a hugely exciting part of my life,
one I’m so glad I found the strength to do. It was nothing like I
imagined it would be, but I stuck it out and have some fond
memories of that chapter in my life.
