Separate Lives

I wrote this shortly after a relationship break up. Writing it helped
me to get through that time and somehow I found the strength to
move on. I have to add that my reason for leaving the relation-
ship was directly linked to my having PTSD and feeling mis-
understood. Now that time has passed I feel that I made the right
decision for myself in leaving. Communication stopped bar a few
simple words and the silence was too much for me at a time
when I craved understanding and love.
