           She also said that someone else could see him, how could that be?
           The living can’t see the dead.

             All of these questions were just adding to his confusion.
           Although deep inside he now knew, he still refused to believe it.
           Maybe there was another explanation, but if there was there was
           still another big question going around his head.  Why was he now
           in 1940 when his last memory was in 1916?



             N.B.  The real William Snow fell wounded on a counter-
           offensive on 31st August 1916 at Delville Wood.  He died the
           following day of his wounds and was laid to rest at La Neuville
           Cemetery, Corbie, France shortly after.  The description of the
           battle is an interpretation based on facts and research along with
           a degree of artistic licence purely for the purpose of this book.
           Any similarities to any person, living or deceased outside of this
           novel is purely coincidental.

              They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.  Age shall
                       not weary them, nor the years condemn.

                At the going down of the Sun and in the morning, we will
                                  remember them.
