Don’t Explain Problems…Solve Them

                   We’re in business to solve problems, not explain them.

                   Beginning today, forget about explaining your actions and focus on solving
                   the problems.  It makes no difference whether your actions contributed to
                   the problem or not….solve the problem and get on with things!

                   The way to begin the mission to solve any problem is to use these words
                   when a problem is brought to your attention: “I understand how you feel.”

                   Then solve the problem.

                   “Your service is terrible.”
                                “I understand how you feel”
                   “I will never to do business with you again.”
                                 “I understand how you feel.”
                   “You are a lazy bum.”
                                  “I understand how you feel.”

                   In every case, “I understand how you feel” is the response…and since we
                   have all experienced the feeling of the speaker, we are always safe in
                   stating that fact.
