INTRODUCTION
Personal hygiene is an effort to maintain personal hygiene that carries
out by individuals. The habits of students in the Islamic boarding
school environment for personal hygiene, namely the habit of hanging
clothes, bad environmental conditions, the habit of borrowing clothes
and toiletries between one another is bad behavior. This study aimed
to determine the knowledge of personal hygiene in students and
managers at the Fauzan IV Sukaresmi Islamic Boarding School.
METHODS
This research is descriptive quantitative research. This study was
conducted at Fauzan IV Sukaresmi Garut Islamic Boarding School.
The population in this study were students and maintainers in Islamic
Boarding Schools. The sample was taken by total sampling with 65
respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire created by the
researcher and consulted with the supervisor (content validity test).
Data is processed using computer statistical apps and presented in
the form of distribution. Data results of this research were analyzed in
descriptive quantitative.
RESULT
An overview of the students at the Fauzan IV Sukaresmi Islamic
Boarding School in Garut, it can be seen the number and
percentage of respondents' characteristics consisting of age and
education in table 1.
