Abstract
MTPEN is a great combination of stationery items that are useful and functional. This product
contains four parts which are pens, liquid paper, highlighter, and glue. It is ideal and suitable for
students and employees to use. Furthermore, the simple and elegant design makes it easier for
customers to purchase, place anywhere, and save time or space. One of the reasons we created this
MTPEN is that students are too lazy to bring a lot of stationery to class, so with this MTPEN, students
can bring an item that has multiple functions. Another benefit of this product, it would reduce the cost
of buying stationeries. The contribution of this product to society is that it enables the younger
generation and employees to complete their tasks more efficiently and quickly.

Introduction
Recently, the whole world is plagued by disease COVID-19 that brought a huge impact to the
economy and society such as the economic crisis, many companies are unable to operate, employees
are laid off or forced to work at home, and university students, as well as primary and secondary
school students, have to learn Online Distance Learning (ODL) at home. One of the objectives in
creating product innovation is to provide convenience to everyone especially to students and this
product is acceptable to consumers. As technology improves, consider the places writing instruments
could go (Billock, 2017). Studied by Ferasso, Fracasso and Pinhiero (2008) introduced a new process
of production of ink writing instruments; opened a new market, forced the search of new materials
both for fountain and ballpoint pens and forced the reorganization of the writing instruments industry
creating two main market sectors of in the fountain pen industry: the luxury goods and the high-
quality office products.

Therefore, we created a new product of writing instrument called 'MTPEN' that consists of a pen,
liquid paper, highlighter, and glue. This item is perfect for employees and students. Furthermore, the
simple and elegant nature makes it easier for customers to purchase, easier to place anywhere and they
can save space and time. We are also thinking of creating products that provide comfort to employees
and students who do their homework and work, according to the analysis of the problems they have.
At the same time, we chose the name of this MTPEN because it has many functions and a unique
name and can be remembered by buyers. This MTPEN means a pen that has multiple functions. One
of the objectives in creating this product is to provide convenience to everyone especially to students
and this product is acceptable to consumers.
