Objective
What To ‘Masak’ application was created to assist people that are struggling with a shortage of time
and expertise to prepare their favourite dishes in the comfort of their kitchen. It also aims to make life
easier for the people of the country by eliminating the need to go to the grocery only to buy some
ingredients because everything can be done through a single application. Rodgers (2008) found that
sophistication in product development can be achieved through the application of the principles of the
subject in combining with computer modelling.

Product’s Novelty
What makes What To ‘Masak’ different from other applications are the creativity of the application
such as collaboration with the local supermarket that provided delivery service with just in one
application.

The process when we come up with this application is we are thinking of something that can make
things easier and useful for everyone. The innovation that we figure out is how we can produce a
high-quality and useful application that is different from other applications. We also thinking of
making an outstanding application that does not exist yet.

Since there are already varieties of cooking applications, so we decided to make it different and more
up-to-date compared to other applications. Moreover, what makes it different from other existing
applications are the creativity of the application such as instructions on how to cook various of meal
step by step, a complete list of ingredients with a capacity needed and collaboration with the local
supermarket that will provide delivery service with just in one application. This idea will easily attract
people because it is different from other existing cooking applications as it has both instructions step
by step and also delivery service for the ingredients needed in one application.

In addition, this application will make things easier for the users as it is an up-to-date application. The
collaboration with the local supermarket will make it easier for the users as they do not have to go out
to buy the groceries, instead, they can just choose the meal they wish to cook, make payment and the
ingredients will arrive at the customer’s front door.

Product’s Functionality
What To ‘Masak’ offers straightforward instructions before the end of the process to assist consumers
in quickly deciding what to choose by creating a simple user flow that can be easily understood in a
short time. On the menu’s page, users will be given a list of recommended recipes that comes from all
around the world. In the shortcuts page, users will be taught how to utilize kitchen tools properly and
effectively in this part, referred to as ‘Tool Care,' so that they can save much time in the kitchen and it
also guides users through the steps of cooking any dish they desire, including ingredients, instructions,
and the final result. “What to Masak” application also offers the users to buy any groceries with their
preferred supermarket and they can make the payment using online banking and finally, their
groceries will be sent by the delivery person.

Commercialization Potential
What To ‘Masak’ is an extremely potential application that deserves the attention of every individual
as it is the first application that has been created by Malaysian for the nations to ease their life by
offering a unique application that cannot be found in other applications. It offers instructions on how
to cook step-by-step with the varieties dishes from all around the world and it also offers a platform
for anyone who wanted to buy groceries remotely in collaboration with a local’s supermarket.
