A valued client since 2000, SMS has been providing design-build
services for all of the Montefiore Hospital campuses, including
Moses, Weiler, Wakefield, Westchester Square, New Rochelle,
Tarrytown, Hutch and Mt. Vernon. With approximately 500
access control points controlled by a legacy system, SMS has
developed a migration path to upgrade the site to an Enterprise
Solution.
Currently, SMS is migrating 500 plus access control points with a
card holder data base of 30,000. This application shall be
supported on a virtual server environment controlling access
control for the current campus locations to support the continued
expansion of the hospital. When completed in 2019, the entire
solution shall include over 1,000 access control doors and over
2,000 surveillance cameras.
