                           Spanish Rice


             wraps  Yom Tov Sides
































             INGREDIENTS                           DIRECTIONS

                                                   Make the Rice
             1 tablespoon oil
             1 medium onion                        In medium-sized pot, sauté onion
                                                   and pepper in oil, until soft and
             1/2 a red pepper, diced               slightly browned.
             1/2 a green pepper, diced             $GG ULFH DQG VWLU IRU ¿YH PLQXWHV
             1 cup raw rice                        Pour in boiling water and tomato
                                                   VDXFH  6WLU  &RYHU DQG ORZHU ÀDPH
               DQG     FXSV ERLOLQJ ZDWHU
             8 ounces Tomato Sauce                 Cook for 20 minutes to half an
                                                   KRXU  FKHFNLQJ HYHU\ IHZ PLQXWHV
             dash of salt                          to see if water is absorbed into
                                                   rice. Add salt and toss lightly.
                                                   Variation: Substitute brown rice
                                                   for white rice. After lowering the
                                                   ÀDPH  FRRN    WR    PLQXWHV
