Looking towards the future for
Stonecrest Engineering
The past decade has provided a wave
of growth for Stonecrest Engineering.
Expansion into other industries in
addition to agricultural has continued
this past year further branching
into the commercial, residential and
bioenergy sectors.
TOP RIGHT: Stonecrest team The past years seem to have come and gone, bringing with them
celebrating Halloween at the returning clients as well as new clients and new faces within

vast learning experience for everyone the Stonecrest Engineering team.
ABOVE: Stonecrest’s newest team We have been lucky to have always had such wonderful farmers and
additions (above from top left, contractors to be able to work with. Watching our clients’ businesses,
whether it be the farm owner or the contractors that are building the
clockwise); Lucas Meyer (Designer), projects, thrive and grow has been a pleasure for all of us.
Brian Sanders (Inspector) and Amr
Our staff’s experience in the design and agricultural fields has always
Abdeleel (EIT) been a positive asset for our clients, helping develop designs that
encourage positive animal flow and production efficiency. Being
able to deliver a wider array of services in more facets like project
management, commercial site planning, residential design and biogas
systems, gives our existing and new clients more opportunity to source
their project needs from one place.
This year, we welcomed a few new faces to our diversified team. Lucas
Meyer, joined our agricultural team in April, and has enveloped projects
in all areas, including dairy and biogas facilities. Brian Sanders, who
started in June, has quickly become our prominent onsite inspector,
looking after our general review requirements during the course of
construction throughout South-western Ontario. Our latest team
member, Amr, joined us in August and is our latest EIT (Engineer In
Training), helping our Structural Specialist and Engineer with a wide
array of project calculations.
With new staff, and a new field office location in Woodstock, Ontario,
for our commercial division, 2018 proved itself to be a year of growth
for Stonecrest.
We are excited as we look to the future and further expansion of our
divisions and services to better help our clients with their projects.
