Spotlight ON In November 2020, we kicked-off our inaugural BST Lead-
Our BST Basecamp Champ! ership Foundations (BLF) program with 16 new leaders
across SEA! Focused on Leading Self, Leading Others,
and Leading Function, the program was delivered
by Belinda Brown, an executive coach, senior BCG
alumni and also part of the faculty to train our
senior consulting team across Asia Pacific.
Hear what our participants had to say
about their BST Leadership Founda-
tions journey!
How would you
describe your
BLF learning experi-
ence?
This is my first time having a proper structured leader-
ship training. The trainer (Belinda) made the session re-
ally fun. In each session I had an “AHA” moment. From
learning about myself via MBTI, building trust to han-
dling conflicts, there was a wealth of knowledge being
discussed and ideas being thought. Really grateful to have been part of this training.
What was your biggest takeaway/ “AHA” moment?
One of my favourite session was when we covered “powerful listening”. Being an
extrovert, I realise I tend to keep talking and talking and continue talking. Truly
realised the importance of listening.
What is one leadership commitment you’ve set for yourself?
I have two that I would like to really work on. I will be a better listener and
to have better emotional intelligence.
