Train for the Game


           Drill Five
           This is the same as Drill Three, but one of the attackers has a padded stick about
           the same length as a baseball bat. Have him attack your head, body and legs as you
           shorten and extend the distance between you to rob him of room and leverage.
           (Fig. 222)

           Obviously, any training drill cannot replicate the fear and extreme danger of real
           combat, but imagination and intensity will provide many of the skills required if
           sufficient time is given over to them.
