Combat Kick Boxing


          Striking Surface: Point
          This is the finishing blow. It concentrates the full force of your body weight
          downward on to the point so that the power is driven into the target area.
            To execute this strike, raise your elbow upward and then drive it down, sinking
          your hips as you do so. (Fig. 31)
            Additional power can be obtained by jumping up prior to dropping your weight.
          The descending elbow strike is especially useful when breaking holds. It can be
          driven downward into the wrist or forearm of your assailant to free yourself. (See
          Chapter Three.)
            The main targets for this strike are the nape of the neck, the collar bone, between
          the shoulder blades and the kidneys.
