In order to assess the academic performance of the students in a manner that
every students will be given the equal chance and rights for their respective
subjects or class to perform their academics, the following guidelines were
follows:

ACADEMIC PROCESSES
2.1. Scheduling and Conduct of Classes
2.1.1. Course Loads and Scheduling
The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs through the Registrar is
tasked to provide policy and oversight on course scheduling. The College Deans draft the
tentative loads and schedules of subjects including room assignments. Faculty schedules
are prepared by the College Deans in due consultation with the other Deans and the faculty
members. The assignment of teaching loads should be based on the existing policies of
the institution governing TL/WL A tentative schedule is usually given to faculty members
at least two (2) weeks before the opening of the semester to give them enough time to
prepare. Loads are considered final once approved by the Vice President for Academic
Affairs (VPAA) two weeks after the opening of classes. The VPAA and College Dean sign
the Official Report on Load of the faculty member before it is forwarded to the HRMO.
2.1.2. Change of Class Schedule
The regular schedule of classes, as approved, should be observed strictly. Faculty
members should conduct their classes for instruction or consultation purposes on the
scheduled time and venue. In case of a plan to change the class schedule, the faculty
member should first inform, consult, and get the approval of their Dean. Internal
arrangements between faculty members and students are not allowed. Any deviation from
the approved schedule should be immediately communicated to the Office of the Registrar.
2.1.3. Class Size
A minimum number of students are required to open a class as shown in Table 8
below:

Should the class size fall below the minimum number, the College Dean must
immediately decide whether to dissolve the class or to maintain it as a special class. If to
be dissolved, the students must be advised to transfer to other classes/ programs/ course.
If the class is to proceed as a special class, the students must be advised to craft and
forward a request to the Vice President for Academic Affairs through the Dean. The Dean
must evaluate and ensure that the requirements for the approval of requests for special
classes are complied before endorsing the same to the VPAA for approval. The VPAA
approves requests for special classes in behalf of the University President.
2.1.4. Special Class/es
Special class refers to subjects offered upon request by students justified by the
following conditions:
2.1.4.1. That the subject is not offered in the semester;
2.1.4.2. That the student need to finish the subject to be able to graduate at the end of
the semester or to regularize his status to be able to graduate in due time (for
