Jack and Jill encourages all team members to keep in mind the speed and manner in which
information posted through social media can be relayed (and often misunderstood) by readers.
Team members must use their best judgment. Team members with any questions should review
the guidelines above and/or consult with their manager. When in doubt, do not post! Failure to
follow these guidelines may result in corrective action, up to and including termination. In
enforcing this policy, the Center reserves the right to monitor social media activities of team
members, whether or not such activities are conducted with Jack and Jill resources, to the
extent permitted by and in accordance with applicable law.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Nothing in this policy is designed to interfere with, restrain, or prevent team member
communications regarding wages, hours, or other terms and conditions of employment.
SPEAKING TO THE MEDIA
All inquiries from the media for statements or comments on behalf of Jack and Jill should be
referred to the Development Department. Should a team member receive a media inquiry,
he/she should forward the individual’s contact information to the Development Department or
have the individual contact that department directly.
