Jack and Jill Children’s Center offers team member and families opportunities to assist in making
decisions to improve the program. Collaborative and shared decisions making is used with all
participants to build trust and enthusiasm for making program changes.

Parents are encouraged to complete a new parent survey once they are enrolled for 2 weeks
and then again at 6 weeks. They are then given an opportunity to do an annual survey in May of
each year to evaluate the program. This survey is done anonymously.

The Center will conduct a program annual evaluation which includes gathering evidence on all
              areas of program functioning, including:

                   Policies and procedures
                   Program quality
 Children’s progress and learning, family involvement and satisfaction, and community
                      awareness and satisfaction

A report of the annual evaluation findings is shared with families, team member and appropriate
advisory and governance boards, and the results are used as a basis for continuing successful
activities and for changing those that need improvement.

The Center conducts an Early Childhood Work Environment Survey in January and July of each
year to evaluate team member engagement. An action plan is developed as a team to continue
working on our strengths, goals and objectives, and opportunities for improvement.

The Team Member Council is involved with administrators to systemically support an
organizational climate that fosters trust, collaboration, and inclusion. They meet once a month
to discuss Center needs review ideas before they become reality.
