Jack and Jill strives to be a family-friendly workplace and is committed to maintaining an
environment in which team member, volunteers and other professionals from other agencies
can work together to educate and meet the needs of the children and families we serve. All team
member is responsible to strengthen community relationships and encourage collaboration and
partnership between all parties mentioned.
Team member are responsible to participate in community events pertaining to early childhood
and other local organizations. As part of the fabric of children’s communities, an effective
program establishes and maintains reciprocal relationships with agencies and institutions that
can support it in achieving its goals for the curriculum, health promotion, children’s transitions,
inclusion, and diversity. By helping to connect families with needed resources, the program
furthers children’s healthy development and learning. Through collaboration with local, state
and national organizations team members:
Identify the needs for improvement and create a plan of action to include benchmarks.
Redress gaps in service.
Ensure the full and appropriate implementation of applicable laws and regulations
regarding the issues concerning the service population.
Local community experts are contacted to train and assist team member in areas such as
curriculum and other pertinent and researched based trainings.
Will designate areas to allow for support services information to be in view of all, in
classrooms and/or in the shared spaces of the Center.
Will communicate with necessary school social workers or specialists if the child is going
to another program.
Will work to create awareness of the program in the community.
