4: You mentioned ‘Your people in Africa’ who are they?
At what level do these contacts operate? What do they offer
in terms of developing the company and its
products/markets?
What market are you really targeting and why?
5: Where are you getting the finance to develop the
company and how are you going to secure this?
6: Where are you sourcing the component parts and at what
cost?
At this point Jim was simply going through the motions as he
suspected that the answers he would receive would be as
banal as the ones he had become accustomed to receiving
from Litan.
The information duly arrived but as Jim had suspected it did
not answer the questions Jim was concerned with.
Throughout the period of the case Litan shows a lack of
openness and unwillingness to listen to advice to the point
where trust is destroyed when requested information is not
supplied and that which is proved fictitious.
