Adidas, the official sponsors of the Boston marathon,
were quick to respond to the chastisement on social
media but perhaps they should have taken notice of the
maxim held by carpenters: ‘measured twice and cut once’
to ensure the outcome achieved the desired result.
Questions will always arise over ‘who approved the e-
mail?’, and what procedures were in place that might
have stopped its publication?
